Massive rotation, 'all-out war' announced Ulsan vs Jeonbuk
Who will kill two birds with one stone?
‘Hyundai Street’ Ulsan HD and Jeonbuk Hyundai will play the second leg of the quarterfinals of the 2023-2024 season Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League (ACL) at Ulsan Munsu Stadium on the 12th. The two rival teams representing the K-League were unable to decide on a winner in their first match (first game) of this season on the 5th. Song Min-gyu of Jeonbuk scored the first goal in the 4th minute of the first half, but Myung-jae Lee of Ulsan scored the equalizer in the 32nd minute of the second half, making it 1-1.
Afterwards, both teams rotated side by side in the second round of K League 1, which was held three days before the second leg of the quarterfinals. An all-out battle in the second round was predicted by allocating the physical strength of the main agents.
Jeonbuk changed all 11 starting players in the first leg of the ACL quarterfinals against Suwon FC (1-1 draw). In the match against Gimcheon Sangmu (3-2 win), Ulsan gave some of its key players, including goaltender Ju Min-gyu and defender Seol Young-woo, a rest.
