Korea Volleyball Association parted ways with both male and female coaches

 Korean volleyball suffered the humiliation of no medal for the first time in 61 years as the men's team failed to reach the semifinals at the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games. Women's volleyball also recorded no medals for the second time in Asian Games history, 17 years after the 2006 Doha Games, and men's and women's volleyball team achieved the first 'both no medals' in history.

In an apology, the Korea Volleyball Association said, "We will establish and implement a mid- to long-term development plan so that Korean volleyball can go through growing pains and be reborn through thorough reform starting with the Korea Volleyball Association," and "This November, the media, volleyball experts, and sports experts will He said, “We will hold a public hearing centered on external figures such as volleyball fans.”
