Hye-kyung Moon and Jin-ah Lim win women's doubles at soft tennis national team selection

 


(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Kim Dong-chan = The team of Moon Hye-kyung and Lim Jin-ah (NH Nonghyup Bank) won the women's doubles match at the 2024 soft tennis national team selection competition.

The pair of Moon Hye-kyung and Lim Jin-a defeated the pair of Kim Min-ju and Kim Han-seol (DGB Daegu Bank) 5-4 in the women's doubles final on the fourth day of the tournament held at the International Soft Tennis Center in Anseong-si, Gyeonggi-do on the 29th.

Hye-kyung Moon is a singles gold medalist at last year's Hangzhou Asian Games.

In the men's doubles final, Kim Tae-min and Kim Jin-woong (Suwon City Hall) defeated Lee Hyun-kwon and Park Jae-gyu (Eumseong County Office) 5-2 to take the top spot.

Athletes selected for the national team in this selection competition will participate in the 17th World Championships to be held in Anseong, Gyeonggi-do in September this year.

The singles national team selection match will be held from March 2nd.
