Chelsea's '143 billion won' FW actually wanted to go to Arsenal?

It has been reported that Chelsea FC striker Michailo Mudrik originally desperately wanted to move to Arsenal FC.

Britain's 'The Athletic' reported on the 29th (Korean time), "After his failed transfer to Arsenal, Mudrik called Arsenal in tears on his way to the airport and asked them to do something."

Mudrik is a winger of Ukrainian nationality. He began his football career with Ukrainian FC Metalist Kharkiv in 2010, and moved to FC Dnipro Youth in 2014, where he played for two seasons. In 2016, Mudrik joined Shakhtar's strongest club, FC Shakhtar Donetsk.

Playing for the under-21 team, Mudrik made his first-team debut in a Ukrainian Cup match against FC Olympik Donetsk in October 2018. In February 2019, he went on loan to FC Arsenal Chiiu to gain experience. He appeared in three Ukrainian Premier League games in the 2019-20 season and even won the championship.

In the summer of 2020, Mudrik moved on loan to Desna Chernihiv. At the time in Cherkhiniv, Mudrik appeared in 10 league games and 1 cup match. In January 2021, he returned to Shakhtar, and confirmed his potential by appearing in three league games in the second half of the season.

Starting with the 2021-22 season, Mudrik began the season in the Shakhtar first team. Mudrik, who showed good performance during the preseason, received the coach's favor and established himself as a rotation member. He scored his first goal three years after his debut in a league match against FC Mariupol in September 2021, and also qualified for the UEFA Champions League.
