The ‘amazing negotiation skills’ that handled 4 FA contracts in half a day, the real negotiations between Ryu Hyun-jin and the ‘Big 4’ FAs

Blake Snell, Jordan Montgomery, Cody Bellinger, and Matt Chapman, currently remaining on the market, are all agents of the 'Big 4' free agents, Scott Boras. Ryu Hyun-jin, who spent nearly three months as a free agent after last season, has been Boras' customer for 12 years since 2013, when he entered the major league.

Upon arriving at Beltre's home, he negotiated over the phone with Washington Nationals general manager Mike Rizzo to finalize the terms of outfielder Joey Gallo's contract. The condition was to receive $5 million per year. After receiving ‘confirmation’ from Gallo, the contract was made official.

He moved to Beltre's office and concluded a contract for left-handed pitcher Matt Moore, who was there at the same time. I spoke with LA Angels general manager Perry Minassian on the phone and heard the terms of $9 million per year, which I passed on to Moore for approval.
