Take a new bus and go on a business trip to Daegu

 A new bus that will accompany the Goyang Sono players on their business trips has appeared in the Goyang Sono Arena parking lot.

Goyang Sono's general manager Lee Ki-wan headed to the large vehicle parking lot on the afternoon of the 10th. This is because the newly purchased club bus arrived.

Sono, which was founded last July, is sparing no investment in the convenience of its players. Approximately 2 billion won was spent on Goyang Sono Arena repair and painting, court floor work, practice gym maintenance, rest room completion, and purchase of medical treatment equipment. 

GeneralManager Lee Ki-wan said, “After the club’s founding was approved on July 21st, we started repairing the gym, and there were a lot of areas that needed fixing. It wasn't just about changing the entire stadium to our club's colors. The lounge where the players rested had a lot of mold, so we had to tear it down and do all the work again. Even the locker room showers were meticulously maintained one by one. “Only in this way will the players become ‘the club they want to be in, the club they want to come to,’” he said.

Purchasing a bus is also an elaborate investment for the athletes. Sono invested 300 million won to purchase the team bus. General Manager Lee Ki-wan said, “There was no club bus. I tried to buy it on a premium bus, but there was no space for players taller than 2m, so I bought it on a premium bus. I thought I should get a good bus if possible, so I ordered the most expensive one. The 28-seat bus had to be manufactured separately as a 25-seat bus. There was a backlog of orders for the bus itself, and city approval was needed to change the 28-seater to a 25-seater, so there was a delay and it is only now out. “Still, it feels good to see a new car,” he said with a smile.

Sono players went on a business trip to Daegu on the morning of the 10th on a new bus painted with the team's symbolizing sky blue color and logo. Sono aims for its third win of the season in the away game against Korea Gas Corporation in Daegu on the 11th.
