At 15 years and 260 days, Camarda becomes the youngest debutant in Serie A history.

 

Promising Italian player Francesco Camarda set a new record for the youngest debut in Serie A history.

Camarda took the field instead of Luka Jovic in the 38th minute of the second half of the 2023-2024 Serie A round 13 home game against Fiorentina held at Giuseppe Meazza in Milan, Italy on the 26th (Korean time).

Born in 2008,Camarda made his Serie A debut at the age of 15 years and 260 years old, breaking his record as the youngest player ever to do so.

His previous record was Visdom Amei, who debuted for Bologna in 2021 at 15 years and 274 days.

Camarda is Italy's top prospect. As a member of the AC Milan youth team, he led the team to a 7-0 victory with a hat trick in the third round of the Coppa Italia Youth League Cup last September.

He also scored multiple goals against Newcastle in the UEFA Youth League.

He also has 4 goals in 6 games for the Italy U-17 national team. 

Meanwhile, AC Milan won 1-0 with Theo Hernández's penalty kick win ning goal in extra time in the first half of the day.
